There are endless opportunities to serve here at NWC. When everyone chips in and does their part we are able to make a practical difference in people’s lives.
Children’s Ministry Workers
Just to name a few. Get in touch with us at the office or stop by the Welcome Centre on a Sunday to talk to us about serving.
Our food pantry is available to anyone in our community in need of food. We provide 2 bags of non-perishable items to each household per visit.
Our doors are open to the community for a completely free hot meal on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6pm.
Why not take part in helping us serve the people of Niagara by bringing a dish, buying a pizza, or simply coming to help serve?
Christmas Eve at NWC is dedicated to the lonely and less fortunate in our community. What began over twenty years ago with a gathering of 12 men has developed into a Christmas experience with over 500 people from all around Niagara. Everyone who comes is served a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings and everyone leaves with several Christmas gifts that are donated by the church and the community.
The primary way that we serve others globally is through our partnering ministries. We support these individuals and ministries by both praying for them and giving financially to them. Here is a list of the ministries we partner with financially on a regular basis:
Running a Pastoral training centre in Africa.
An intensive care ward for youth in Canada & the U.S.
Bible School in Thailand.
Supporting persecuted Messianic congregations in Israel.
Villages of Hope Africa (Tanzania).
Pastoring a church in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
In the spring of every year a team from NWC is sent down to Haiti to provide aid.
