We all like new things. New phones, new clothes, new cars. New is exciting. It’s valuable. It’s worth celebrating! But is there something more exciting than new things? How about a new you? The Apostle Paul made this declaration in one of his letters to the church years ago, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” Just how new? You ask…. One translation refers to us as becoming “a new species of being that never existed before.” Now that’s what I call NEW!
